Woman allegedly shot in the head by police officer in Delta State

A woman has been accidentally shot in the head by suspected police officer in Delta State.

The lady was shot by a police officer who mistook her for an armed robber.

The incident happened at Atufe Road, Sapele, in the early hours of Sunday, May 13, when the victim was on her way to a friend’s house to cook.

According to reports, some policemen were allegedly in pursuit of fleeing armed robbers when one of the officers mistakenly shot at her thinking she was one of the armed gang members

She was later rushed to a nearby clinic by the officers for immediate treatment.

The family of ex- BBNaija housemate Angel were put in agony, after the reality show’s brother was reportedly shot by a policeman in Ondo State.

According to Angel, the incident occurred after the driver of a commercial vehicle his brother was in, tried to evade an illegal checkpoint. He further disclosed that the incident occurred at Ifon L.g.a in ondo state around 2:00 pm on the 25th of April 2018.

Sharing photos of the bullet which penetrated the Sienna car his brother was in, the reality show star wrote;

The driver was trying to evade the so called illegal police check point in order not to pay the regular toll tip-they collect on the highway

One shot penetrated the trunk of the seana, but was obstructed by passengers luggage,
Whilst the second shot penetrated from the lower side of the vehicle hitting my brother on the his belt before contact with is hip. Luckily, by the grace of God, no harm befell him.
